Thursday June 25, in a critical home game, the Fuego went on to tie Ventura County Fusion 1-1 in front of 3,100 fans at Chukchansi Park.  It was the Fusion who struck first early into the second half, though Fuego came right back. Receiving a cross from Eddie Gutierrez, it was Nini Blanco who found the back of the net with his head and extending thier record to 3-4-4.
