Fresno Freeze

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Freeze (WPSL) has announced their 2017 regular season schedule. The 8-match slate will include 4 matches at Chukchansi Park in Downtown Fresno. This summer will mark the 3rd season of Freeze soccer. The Freeze enter 2017 coming off a 2nd place finish in the NorCal division of the WPSL and a 6-1-2 record.

Fresno’s home-opening and season-opening match is Friday, May 26 against Tottenham Hotspur East Bay. The Freeze will play two home matches in a week in June; Saturday, June 10 vs. North Bay Wave, and Thursday, June 15 vs. West Coast Wildkatz. The standard kick off time is 5:30 p.m., and all home matches will be followed by Fresno Fuego men’s soccer.

“The Freeze continue to focus on utilizing a core of players that are rooted right here in our very talented Central California region. The WPSL is a great platform for our players to compete and perform to get exposure for the next level and we have been fortunate to send 4 players on to professional contracts in just 2 years of existence as a club,” said Jeremy Schultz, General Manager of the Fresno Freeze.
