FRESNO FUEGO TO PLAY LA GALAXY II AT CHUKCHANSI PARK
Teams will square off two days prior to the Central California Cup
Fresno, Calif. — Due to the overwhelming community response for the February 15th Central California Cup between the LA Galaxy and San Jose Earthquakes, the Fresno Fuego (USL PDL) have announced they will take on the LA Galaxy II (USL Pro) in an exhibition match at Chukchansi Park on Thursday, February 13th at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets are available now by visiting ticketreturn.com. Fans can also purchase tickets Monday-Friday (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) at the Chukchansi Park Box Office (1800 Tulare St., Fresno, CA) or by calling 559.320.TIX. All tickets, except Cru Club, will be general admission and priced at $6.
“This match against the LA Galaxy II is a prime opportunity for our local past and present players with the Fresno Fuego to perform in front of LA Galaxy staff,” stated Fresno Fuego GM Jeremy Schultz. “Between this Thursday exhibition and the Saturday Central California Cup, we’re working towards a three-day soccer takeover in the Central Valley.”
The exhibition match will mark the 2014 debut for the Fresno Fuego and will feature notable alumni Milton Blanco, Jose Cuevas, and Paul Islas returning to play for the team alongside new talent.
The recently announced LA Galaxy II will be comprised of LA Galaxy first team players, LA Galaxy Academy players and players signed by the LA Galaxy II, according to a LA Galaxy statement.
Gates to Chukchansi Park will open one hour prior to the start of the game. Parking will be $5.
