Fresno’s Ramirez is Player of the Week USL announced Tuesday April 20th, the first set of weekley honors for the 2004 season. The PDL’s Orlando Ramirez got the first week honor of player of the week. The Fuego got off to a hot start in the PDL with a 5-1 thumping against the Gauchos in San Diego Saturday night April 17th. Ahead 1-0, Orlando Ramirez gave the Fuego a 2-0 lead with what proved to be the game in the 38th minute on an assist from Eddie Gutierrez. Ramirez found the back of the net one more time in the 68th minute on an assist from Fabricio Codeceira, who had 3 assists on the night. In the 80th minute Codeceira turned provider again finding Milton Blanco for his third assist and putting the game out of reach.
