FUEGO SET TO TAKE ON LA MISIONEROS AT CHUKCHANSI PARK THIS FRIDAY
First 500 fans will receive a water bottle courtesy of Little Caesars
FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Fuego return to Chukchansi Park this Memorial Day weekend to take on LA Misioneros on Friday, May 24. The match, presented by Little Caesars, will kick off at 7 pm with gates opening at 6 pm. The first 500 fans that enter through Gate 2 will receive a 20 oz. water bottle, courtesy of Little Caesars.
All Fuego games are free admission, with tickets available on the Fuego’s Facebook page or by visiting Univision Radio on Palm and Herndon Ave. in Fresno.
The Fuego, tied for second in the Western Conference’s Southwest Division, are 1-0-1 this season after tying BYU Cougars in their home opener on May 9. Over 4,500 fans watched the Fuego take the Chukchansi Park field for the first time this season earlier this month. The Fuego opened the regular season by beating LA Misioneros 1-0 at Cal State San Bernadino.
Founded in 2003, the Fresno Fuego compete in the United Soccer Leagues (USL) Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The team has never suffered a losing season, helped in part by the fourteen former Fuego players that have gone on to sign professional contracts over the last 10 years.
