Fresno Freeze Futbol Club is an amateur women’s soccer team based in Fresno, California. Founded in 2014, the team competes in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL), playing in the Pacific-North Division.
The WPSL is a highly competitive international league; its’ primary focus is the development of elite competitive women’s soccer teams. US Women’s National Team players such as Alex Morgan, Abby Wambach, Megan Rapinoe, and Brandi Chastain have all represented their respective clubs in the WPSL.
The Fresno Freeze hosts its’ games in collaboration with the Fresno Fuego men’s club at downtown Fresno’s beautiful Chukchansi Park. The team’s official colors are Ice Blue, White, and Black. The Freeze strive to be a community asset in providing an opportunity to elite women’s soccer players in the Central California region to pursue their passion to play at the highest possible level.
