2nd of 3 matchups in 2017 between clubs takes place Thursday
The Fresno Fuego hosts Ventura County Fusion on Thursday, June 15, at Chukchansi Park in the second meeting between the two clubs. Fresno defeated the Fusion 5-2 on May 26, with Jose ‘Chiva’ Cuevas propelling the Fuego with his two-goal night.

The Fuego will look to get back to their winning ways after suffering a 2-1 loss to Southern California Surf this past Saturday. Fresno dropped to fourth place in the USL PDL Southwest Division at 12 points, with a record of 4-2-0.
On the other side, Ventura County sits second to last in the Southwest Division, in seventh place.
The Fusion come into Thursday’s matchup after drawing 2-2 with San Diego Zest this past Saturday. Ventura County’s only victory came May 13 against the Southern California Seahorses.
