About Us – Fresno Fuego FC

The Fresno Freeze Futbol Club is an amateur women’s soccer team based in Fresno, CA.  Founded in 2014, the team will compete in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) playing in the Pacific-North Division. 

The WPSL is a highly competitive international league founded in   whose main focus is the development of elite competitive premier women’s soccer teams.  There are currently over 70 teams participating from throughout the United States and Mexico with the recent inclusion of Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente.  Players such as Alex Morgan, Abby Wambach, Megan Rapinoe, and Brandi Chastain have represented their respective clubs in the WPSL in their pursuit of achieving the ultimate reward of earning their place on our US Women’s National Team.

The Fresno Freeze will host its games in collaboration with the prestigious Fresno Fuego at downtown Fresno’s beautiful Chukchansi Park.  The team’s official colors are Ice Blue, White, and Black.  The Freeze strive to be a community asset by providing an opportunity to elite level women’s soccer players to pursue their passion to play at the highest possible level in sport.  All while offering a positive service to our society by developing our players in life skills such as leadership, dedication, commitment, and the desire to maximize the strengths of each individual  through the framework of our team.  The Freeze organization hope that you embrace the team, our players, partners and fans to create pride in representing Fresno and the Central Valley region through the sport of soccer.
