FRESNO, CALIF. – The Fresno Fuego, in conjunction with the Premier Development League, announced that midfielder Fabricio Codeceria has been named to the All-PDL Team for the 2008 season. Codeceira led all PDL players this past season with 13 assists, while finishing tied for tenth in the league with 23 points. Last month, he was named to the PDL All-Western Conference Team. “This is an exceptional honor for Fabricio as he was a player who was very consistent for the Fuego in the 2008 season,” Fuego general manager Jeremy Schultz said. “Although our team faced adversity with player injuries and movement, Fabricio continued to perform at a high level allowing our team to remain in the top of the league table. His ability to read the game and his vision on the field is something truly special; he continues to break down our opponents with his cunning style of play.
