GET LOST INSIDE THE FRESNO FUEGO LOGO AT COBB RANCH Club Partners With Telemundo 51 And Historic Cobb Ranch For Unique Take On Annual Corn Maze Design FRESNO, CA – The Fresno Fuego have teamed up with Telemundo 51 and Historic Cobb Ranch to cut the team logo into the cornfield maze, an annual family tradition in the Central Valley. Saturday, September 27th at the maze will be Youth Soccer Night with the Fuego, but media will have the opportunity for a special, sky-high, sneak preview on the morning of Thursday, September 25th. The six-acre Cornfield Maze at Historic Cobb Ranch is a fall, family tradition in Fresno and the surrounding area, the 2008 edition promises to be one of the most ambitious designs yet. This year’s design has over 2.5 miles of twists and turns as folks wander through an enormous replication of the Fresno Fuego logo, presented by Telemundo 51, in the field of 10-foot tall corn stalks. The entire family can pick pumpkins right out of the field, enjoy a wagon ride adventure, and visit with Cobb Ranch’s farm animals. The Cornfield Maze opens on Saturday, September 27th at 10:00am, but Fuego fans can take advantage of a special offer later that night. From 4:00pm to 7:00pm is Youth Soccer Night, and anyone wearing a soccer jersey will be given free admission to the maze. There will be an autograph session with Fuego players, fans can meet the Fuego dance team, and have pictures taken with Scorcher. Prior to the official opening of the Cornfield Maze this weekend however, will be a special, airborne sneak peek for members of the media. On Thursday, September 25th, between 8:00am and 12:00pm, V.I.P. flyovers will be taking off from Sierra Sky Park every 20 minutes. A passenger plane will hold four people, and climb to an altitude of 1,000 feet over the maze for airborne imagery. Media members interested in taking advantage of the unique perspective should RSVP to Danielle Witt (559.320.2547) as soon as possible. The annual Cornfield Maze will open on Saturday, September 27th at Historic Cobb Ranch, located off of Freeway 41 and Rio Mesa Blvd., near Children’s Hospital.
