Club Partners With Telemundo Fresno For 2009 Season

FRESNO, CA – The Fresno Fuego announced today that they have come to terms with Telemundo Fresno for a partnership that will extend through the 2009 PDL season.

The partnership brings new ideas literally to the playing field. The 2009 season will introduce the Telemundo Zone, a V.I.P. area located on field level at all Fuego home games.  The Telemundo Zone will host up to 40 Telemundo clients, Fuego partners, and guests per game.

“We are excited to extend our current partnership into 2009. Telemundo Fresno and the Fresno Fuego share a common vision to be part of the community and give back to our community,” says Manuel Cervantes VP of Sales for Telemundo, “We are pleased and excited to be partners with the Fresno Fuego and we look forward to serving our community in the best interest for all.”

Fuego fans will be able to see footage of Fuego training sessions on Telemundo Fresno prime time newscast, along with post-game coverage including final score announcements and game footage featured on Telemundo Fresno.

“We are truly excited for the opportunity to work with such a respected network,” says Fuego General Manager Jeremy Schultz, “The relationship we have established with Telemundo Fresno will be instrumental in the growth of the Fresno Fuego.”

Telemundo Fresno will also be the presenting sponsor of the 2nd annual Fresno Fuego Soccer Camp, which will be held in the summer of 2009 at Chukchansi Park.
