PDL Team of the week honors Edgardo Contreras… Fresno’s Edgardo Contreras scored two goals in a 5-1 win against California Gold on Saturday May 1st. The game was tied 0-0 at halftime until a flury of goals came through by (2) Edgardo ‘Garin’ Contreras, (2) Gaston ‘Tato’ Cignetti, (1) Jose ‘Tin’ Espindola (2) assists. Edgardo, is a second year Fuego starter that was named to the 2003 Southwestern Conference First Team for the PDL. Contreras is a dynamic player with an unusual vision that always anticipates any goal keepers decisions.
